Hockey
We are the ‘destination store’ and largest stockist of sticks in the region for hockey.
Major brands stocked are Grays, TK, Mercian, Kookaburra, Gryphon, Adidas and Dita and Asics. Slazenger, Zoppo are also stocked.
Equipment
With up to 800 sticks in stock all sizes and types are carried from 24” fun sticks for infants from under £10 to £200+ models from all the top makes. We are always happy to give as much advice and help in purchasing the best model, from beginner to county player. We have a practice area with balls to ‘try before you buy’.
A wide and colourful selection of balls, shin pads, player’s protective gloves, stick tape and reinforcement resin accompany the sticks. A huge range of stick and kit carry bags from all the major makes from £6 to £70 are also stocked.
A small, good value quality range of Goalie equipment is stocked. This is a potentially complicated as well as expensive area; we cannot possibly stock many options here but are happy to help. We have supplied a number of keepers on a special order basis. We can carry out helmet servicing in store, greatly saving on the cost of possible replacement.
Footwear / Clothing
A huge range of Astros from size 2 to 14, £20 to £90 is stocked from Asics, Adidas, Dita, Grays, Kookaburra and TK. Clothing is stocked for juniors, men’s and ladies- socks, skorts, skirts, shorts, bandanas etc. as well as training wear.
Teamware
We have supplied a number of the local school, college and club teams over the years and Cambridge University Mens and Ladies Blues Squads for several years now; please ask for a quote for any teamwear requirements you may have. We can supply bespoke designs or source immediately available stock from a number of different suppliers. All of which we can embroider and print (Numbers/Names/Sponsors) in store to your specific request.
